About

About Me:
Chris (50% English, 50% Italian) is the 22 year old founder of the Environmental Graffiti Network, which includes Environmental Graffiti and Pixdaus. At some point he plans to grow up and get enough facial hair to grow a beard. In the mean time, he’s happy to slave away to build what will become the internet’s biggest environmental website, whilst getting slack for being a whipper-snapper from the rest of the team.

CHRIS Why will you not respond to my e-mails? I have, so far this month registered over 70,000 views on my EG posts - $70 worth of earnings for me and untold revenue for the site from those views - yet you refuse point-blank to acknowledge my existence. I DID break the rules, and got punished, but surely, if you intend to keep profiting from my copyrighted intellectual property - instead of removing it as I have repeatedly requested - the least that you can do is pay me for the vies since last March? However big my transgression, and whatever the rules, the posts in question are mine, and you do NOT have the right to make use of them for free. You would object strongly if it were your own work, so why should the fact that it is mine make any difference? The courtesy of a reply would be very much appreciated.

Hi Chris,

Just got an email alert about payment. Thank you so much. I enjoy the site and think its great to be able to contribute. I wasn't going to continue writing after getting a not too pleasing message yesterday from one of the contributors here about my writing. It was surprising. I just thought it was rather egregious. I would not ever do that to someone. I try to tell everyone I meet about this site, even entrepreneurs who have started lucrative businesses in the fields of environmental technology, environmental science, environmental attorneys and offshoots - geologists, physicists, biochemists and engineers. My first real job was a chemist working for an environmental firm contracting to the EPA. Lots of Superfund and RCRA cleanup work (what a mess, but I met a lot of people I still know today). They think the site is inventive, progressive and pretty cool.

GetFacts not Hype

Some websites are worse than us and some are better in terms of followers.

Some websites even have a way to get a newsletter out to their followers. Some websites will allow for one to sign up for a newsletter based on topics they check/click by category. That way if someone wants updates on animals, they don't get info on fossil fuels, and alternative energy. Other websites, (if they are environmental) have chosen one feature article (by the editor) to be sent in the headline/ reference line/or subject line in the e:mail to that subscriber, and that has the article of the day, with other links to articles written that day.

Currently the only way to get a follower here, is to have another author click on follow. My friends can't follow, NOR can anyone else that clicks on my articles unless they are writers here. No offense but I do not need followers here, I NEED other followers from the general public so that I may obtain a fan base with more clicks or page views. If other writers are the only ones following EACH OTHER, that does not introduce anyone new to the system.
