Steel Giants Floating on a Blanket of Fog

Tall spires rise with the first rays of the sun over a blanket of white, carefully poking through a dense cloud cover. Surreal? Yes. Photoshopped? Never. Just the incredible interplay of fog, skyscrapers and sunlight that seems to play tricks with our eyes. Some cities like Dubai, Vancouver and San Francisco just have all the ingredients for stunning fogfloater pics.

New Orleans After the Flood [PICS]

On August 29, 2005, just as the city of New Orleans breathed a collective sigh of relief at the passing of Hurricane Katrina, surging seas broke through more than 50 canal levees, which had been put in place years before to protect the Louisiana city from flooding. Seasoned photographer, Frank Relle was born and bred in New Orleans and captured these haunting images of what’s been left behind.
