So get those "yucks" and "eeews" out of your system. You’d eat this stuff if you had to, or if society didn’t wrinkle its collective nose at it. It all tastes like chicken anyway, doesn’t it? The Real-Life Frankenstein

London, 1837. Electricity, that most wondrous of modern miracles, is still a poorly understood force at this time. But even though you wouldn't want to get bitten by an even vaguely oversized ant's mandibles, it's strange how like ants we are.

The Strangest Camouflage in the World

Insects typically do not stand out. Something to do with it being their one way ticket to certain extinction, generally. A fact that just adds to the mystique of the extremely rare pink katydid. Though remarkably pretty and startling, one must wonder just what purpose this color scheme serves. It’s certainly not the best camouflage, so must surely result in untimely death more often than not.

The Amazing Technicolored Coat of the Caddisfly

Your first response may well be 'Is that thing REAL?!' and no one would blame you in the slightest. However, while this luridly multicolored insectoid monstrosity may at first appear to be an elaborately designed model, rest assured that the little fellow is very real - right down to the stylish purple beret.
