Giant Clam Says Happy New Year!

It’s Audrey II, from the Little Shop of Horrors, down under! This smiley creature was snapped in the Great Barrier Reef, Australia. A member of the giant clam family Tridacna gigas, the bivalve mollusc can reach up to 1.2 meters across and 200 kgs (440 lbs) and if left to flourish can live up to 100 years. This great shot captures an unusual, almost human-like grin – most clams have undulating lips so these straight lips are extraordinary.

Bansky’s Village Pet Store and Charcoal Grill

Banksy has opened a different sort of pet store in Greenwich Village and the 'animals' in the cages are something you would expect from a happy meal at McDonalds. The show entitled ‘The Village Pet Store and Grill' explores society's use of animals as pets, food, and clothing. Displays range from 'Chicken Nuggets' where the fast food treat appears to peck at a trough of ketchup to fish sticks floating in a fish bowl.

Banksy: Let Them Eat Crack [PICS]

Urban art legend Banksy – at least we think it’s him – offers up his take on the recent finance fiasco. Trust him to say it how it is. Banksy goes to great lengths to ensure he is never caught on camera and few people know what he really looks like, so the photographer, Sabeth, has done well to catch him in the act. Anyone else ever seen the elusive graffiti artist extraordinaire?

Finding Nemo in Real Life! [pics]

Silvery-blue finned fencers swirl and eddy in ever-decreasing circles, packing their terrified prey into a bait ball, fresh for the killing. The sailfish, using superbly-organised tactics normally reserved for undercover commandos, carry out their planned approach with unbelievable speed and uncanny precision, communicating in a way only they know.

20 Masterpieces of Green Graffiti

Artists create unique street art from plant material that’s been cut, shaped and attached to various sites, introducing splashes of green to urban landscapes. 35 Greatest Works of Reverse Graffiti

Graffiti is a form of expression and, without fail, manages to draw opinion. Some people find it intriguing, beguiling, beautiful and imaginative, others look upon it is as having a complete lack of respect for the law. Graffiti challenges ideals and perceptions while at the same time shapes and changes the environment in which we live, whether people think for the better, or not.

Welcome to the Brand New Environmental Graffiti

I know we haven’t published anything for a week or so, but that’s because we graffiti artists have been busy at work creating the brand new layout of Environmental Graffiti – we hope you like it! The design was created by Antonello Romano (graphic design) and implemented by Alfred Armstrong’s Likemind (web development company). They are both awesome and I’d highly recommend them. We’d also really appreciate your feedback.
