Banksy has opened a different sort of pet store in Greenwich Village and the 'animals' in the cages are something you would expect from a happy meal at McDonalds. The show entitled ‘The Village Pet Store and Grill' explores society's use of animals as pets, food, and clothing. Displays range from 'Chicken Nuggets' where the fast food treat appears to peck at a trough of ketchup to fish sticks floating in a fish bowl.

Urban art legend Banksy – at least we think it’s him – offers up his take on the recent finance fiasco. Trust him to say it how it is. Banksy goes to great lengths to ensure he is never caught on camera and few people know what he really looks like, so the photographer, Sabeth, has done well to catch him in the act. Anyone else ever seen the elusive graffiti artist extraordinaire?

Not too many people still get their milk delivered to the doorstep but those who do have recently been waking up to a surprise with their morning milk. When they go to the doorstep they’ve found extra bottles intricately decorated with cows, sheep or mice. For months, residents have been trying to figure out who their secret deliveries are from; now the artist has been revealed.

Graffiti is a form of expression and, without fail, manages to draw opinion. Some people find it intriguing, beguiling, beautiful and imaginative, others look upon it is as having a complete lack of respect for the law. Graffiti challenges ideals and perceptions while at the same time shapes and changes the environment in which we live, whether people think for the better, or not.
