With a bouncing floor and a series of power generating blocks, the first eco-nightclub in Britain will open its gates on July 10, in London. The bar is supposedly powered by renewable energy and will serve organic spirits in polycarbon cups. It also has plans to install a power-generating dance floor and a recycling water system to flush the lavatories.

Yubari is Japan's "Melon Kingdom"; a city with 12,500 citizens reliant on the melon industry after the mines closed down. The Yubari King is an orange-fleshed melon that is similar in appearance and size to the common cantaloupe, but very fragrant, deliciously sweet and extremely expensive. It's supposed to be one of the most revered gifts the Japanese can make.

A few days ago, during the first auction of the season, the record price for a pair of these melons was paid.

Jason Cull, 37, is a lucky swimmer that managed to escape a ferocious shark attack. A 16 foot Great White, attacked him while swimming at the Middleton Beach on Australia's southwestern coast on Sunday.

"Initially I thought it was a dolphin but when it came up and banged straight into me, I realized what it was," Jason said.

Escaping a shark attack is not an easy thing when you consider that fear takes over your mind and reactions are partially restrained.
