Don't u understand that is what war is? Humans killing humans. That's the way it has always been. The crying and sobbing is the reason why governments don't readily go into war. Now consider those already detached congress men with an army that only needed to be rolled off the assembly line to go into battle instead of convinced to serve. They would be even more ready to go to war. Now think Katrina with robots, think large protest in DC plus robots, think martial law plus robots. This is stupid we are literally sharpening our own axe.

LOL, and you dont think china will mass produce cheap knock off versions of our robots at a cheaper price with faster production? All this does is make it easier to wipe each other off the face of the Earth... great! Just what we need! Maybe we can program them to keep operating after we all die out of a great plague because we are too busy squandering all our money on fighting wars instead of solving the REAL problems we are facing here.... once again greed leads to our demise... wonderful...

Dirk: agreed. the US will build bigger more sophisticated robot armies than any other poor country and so they win, hands down. i think people would rather die for their coutry than to watch their tennis ball launching machine throw a few grenades before getting blown up, and having no army.

I'm sorry about the cursing, but are you out of your f** mind or are you just from the US ?!
Apparently the only reason some people in the US still care about Iraq being blown to pieces (let's not forget: for purely economic reasons) is because now and then a load of bodybags comes back. Taking away those bodybags will have two effects: the political price will be even lower and poor countries will be an even easier target ('law of the richest', anyone?).
