I've lived in Andalusia and had never heard of this. However, it seems I was in the 'surroundings' (El Torcal) just a few months ago on a day trip with my Photography class--> http://fotos0.mundofotos.net/2008/31_07_2008/leona1217526700.jpg I've never been a huge fan of heights myself so all my respect to those who've done it.
