Although fur in general is a very touchy subject. As a vegetarian I do wear leather shoes even although I know I shouldn't. Some people would say that leather is just as bad as fur. Fur is the animal hair, not the skin. I know of sources that use Alpaca and Mohair hairs woven into Cotton backing and they do very nicely indeed both in the soft toy industry and in the clothing world. They really are the best of all worlds. Why shouldn't people use this product if it won't harm the animal?
