We’ve been doing a lot of blog reading lately, and we’ve decided to make a list of the top 10 environmental blogs online. We know there have already been a few, notably from readwriteweb and doshdosh, however, we have taken more of a scientific approach to our top 10. With the help of SEO legend David Eaves, we looked at recent Digg homepages, Yahoo linking, and authority points and we came up with a scientific list of the best of the environmental blogs.
10.EcoStreet

Famous readers include Bono, Al Gore, and Jesus*.

Interesting list! i subscribe to 5 of them already, i’m not sure i would be so democratic and call the most popular the best though. not that i’m a subjectivist but i would go by post quality, % of good quality posts and maybe even throw in ‘most likely to have positive environmental impact’. how a comparison could be formulated, i dont know. my personal list would probably have - Celsias.com :: Environmental Graffiti :: Inhabitat/JetsonGreen :: Monbiot :: ecogeek. something like that anyway, they all understand the limits of consumerism and dont throw out hogwash articles like ‘is bush a closet green’. they are politically astute and/or show expertise in their field. Interesting though, or as one may say in oxford ‘jolly good show’.

You totally forgot to list http://www.greenbang.com on there. Young, but full of amazing green news and they update so many times a day.
I see they often reference other sites such as Ecogeek and treehugger too. Anywho, one for the list? :)
Cheers,
Dave

Very interesting list.
If the economics don’t work, recycling and sustainable efforts won’t either.
Check http://LivePaths.com a blog about innovative entrepreneurs that make money selling recycled items, provide green services or help us reduce our dependency on non renewable resources. These include some very cool Green online ventures, great new technologies, startups and investments opportunities.
