		<description>As examples of miraclous feats of the paranormal that is a pretty dire one, isn&#039;t it?

That said, we shouldn&#039;t scoff at the Russians for trying this. Didn&#039;t the CIA once hire fork bender Uri Geller to see if they could use his abilities? And the TV show Medium where a psychic helps solve crimes, is based on a real American woman and police force, if memory serves. 

Who knows, given time, funding, and guidance, maybe this could be a valuable addition to law enforcement in the future. Look how most people used to scoff at accupuncture, hypnotherapy and the like decades ago. 

Still, with credentials like those above, I doubt the Russian Mafia, corrupt officials, and black market traders have a great deal to worry about. Maybe the odd burglar can be helped to remember the number of the house he broke into!
