God Smiles on Stoners, Eases Drought in Kentucky

For those of you who remember hearing about how the drought affecting the Southeast United States was bad for marijuana production last summer-- or maybe you just, ahem, noticed-- there's been some fine developments for our very mellowed-out friends.

Last summer's drought, which will still take a period of years to overcome, happened to hit hardest 6 of the 10 most prolific producers of marijuana.

With the release of this new projection, it looks like Kentucky, West Virginia, Alabama, and Arkansas are beginning to find their way out of the woods, with Georgia and North Carolina in a state of meteorological confusion. That map also represents especially "good" news for Kentucky. The projected recovery will be strongest in the part of the state that has annually seen the most seizures by the DEA.
