I just wanted to say….

I was at the march and just seeing that many of us “Pot-Heads” in one place all united sharing the ganja brought tears to my eyes. Its such an awesome cause and I am so proud of the way of handling The March every year. Marijuana March is a great cause and I will support it till the end.

This conservative government is so draconian that they are becoming dangerous, if they feel it is necessary to jail someone for having as little as one marijuana plant, for 6 months , than we must be living in the stone ages. An election is in order and I certainly hope the Liberals are not actively supporting laws that have already been dismal failures in the U.S. Mr Dion, show the people what your party stands for, and with the majority of the people understandably upset over Bills like C-26, show your support, we need to know who we should vote for.

It’s unfortunate the Conservatives are so stuck on their hardcore right-wing agenda. Especially towards drugs such as cannabis which is definitely not the demon weed Stephen Harper makes it out to be. Slipping in right-wing marijuana laws into Bill C-26 and then bullying the Liberals with threats of an election in order to get this through to the Senate just shows how sneaky the Conservatives can be on this. Their ignorance towards marijuana is just remarkable. Studies have countlessly shown that incarceration is not the answer, and that decriminalization and education is the solution. Just look to the Netherlands. I don’t see their country running around murdering each other screaming “Demon Weed”. They actually have less use there than we do here. People just need to do their own research and stop being influenced by the media and the ultra right-wings. Think for yourself people!
