The comment about DU is probably not accurate --

"train loaded with more than 1000 tons of depleted uranium since it arrived in the port town near St. Petersburg from the Urenco enrichment facility in Germany. The train is making its way to the Ural Mountains, where the nuclear waste will be buried."

The only reason this train would have a 1000 tons of DU would be because the DU is being used to shield much higher level radioactive waste. DU is practically inert and a trainload of DU would not be exhibiting high level radiation levels.

Are there any pictures of this train? Any pictures of the measurements being taken so that you know exactly what radiation detection instrument is being used and whether or not it is being used correctly?

Click on the link on my name or go to www.depletedcranium.com to learn about uranium and DU. One of the things that you will learn is that uranium is everywhere on earth!
