How is that inhumane? They arent human, they are cats. Plus how is a cat different than a cow? People dont eat cows in India and think you are sick for eating beef. Not everyone in the world thinks of cats and dogs in the same manner, or any animal/insect for that matter.

I totally agree. Who cares? They are cruel because they don’t regard cats with as much esteem? If you eat no animal meat at all, then fine, you can defend cats, cows, chickens, guinea pigs/cuey (also eaten in Peru… and pretty tastey I might add) and call us all monsters and I’ll defend your right to do so. But the moment you eat any other meat you’re in the same boat. You think other animals deserve to dye and be eaten because they aren’t as cute, cuddly, furry, or frisky? F-that. My take is, meat is meat. You either eat it or you don’t. Hell, I’d eat human if i could; one of my own soft countrymen from the south or midwest… at least that would serve to curb our exponential population growth.

Meat. Different meat, but just meat. As long as they aren’t stealing kittens, or killing them inhumanely, it’s not our right to say No.

They’re just animals. They may be cuter than any other animals (and I wouldn’t eat one; I’d never look at my cats quite the same again), but all the same they’re really not that different.

As long as the animal is killed in a human way, and the practice doesn’t damage the general environment or eco-system or species as a whole (say whales for example) – eating any animal is perfectly fine. Cats/dogs/cows/fish/chickens – its all food to someone.
