I was forwarded this by someone who knew I was interested in the environment, but I have to say they messed up. I’m sorry, but your justification for this article is shaky at best. No matter how beautiful they are they’re just hotel rooms, many of which are also environmentally unfriendly. You’re encouraging air travel and all the waste and emissions that entails to go visit wasteful hotels. This is a double whammy of harmful pollution and it’s being promoted on a so called “environmental site”. It’s a good thing you admit you don’t take yourself too seriously, because I certainly can’t take you seriously after this. Any real environmental site, one that valued integrity over shock value or traffic or whatever you’re going for, would not publish this. You need to either rethink what you publish or stop billing yourself as an environmental site.

Lol u stupid fuck, sometimes, you have to travel .. holy shit, how dumb can someone be?
1. Did you notice, there are ppl outside of the USA as well? They don't have to travel to visit these hotels?
2. Not for the homlesse ppl like you, there is people working on this planet, and that might involve travel.

You breathing wastes more air than you could ever imagine.

There is no escaping the fact that it is very hypocritical for an environmental web site to encourage travelling - particularly to luxurious hotels around the world. We all have our vices, but an environmental site surely shouldn't indulge them.
