WebEcoist

WebUrbanist, a great site dedicated to architecture, design, travel and culture, has just announced the launch of their sister site, WebEcoist.

Based on the premise that the natural environment is, not only fundamentally important in practical terms, but also amazingly intriguing in ways many rarely consider, WebEcoist plans to cover a broad range of green issues, but with a twist.

The new environmentally-orientated site commented:

“WebEcoist is dedicated to in-depth and original articles on all kinds of subjects from art, design and technology to daily green living and environmental exploration. Here the idea of ‘going green’ does not just mean sorting your recycling – it is a way of looking at the world and thinking about our place and actions within it.”

Hmmm, Graffiti artists, doesn’t this all sound strangely familiar?

Linda is a writer and editor, currently based in London. Growing up in N Ireland, she craved sunnier climes so set off around the world, forever chasing the sun. On her travels she discovered she was much more passionate about the environment than she realised – although never quite got the whole tree-hugging thing – and has always had a penchant for the unconventional and creative side of life, so working at Environmental Graffiti suits her just fine.
