Green living

On July 20th 2007, the UK was hit by the worst flooding in over half a century. This poignant film is the story of the Truck music festival in Steventon, Oxfordshire: a much-loved event run by the local community to raise funds for good causes. The festival had to be postponed due to massive flooding, just as it was about to start and this film captures the plight of the organisers and the determination that leads to a makeshift indoor festival being held in Oxford instead.

Film By Jeremy “Foxy” Fowler. Music by Goldrush.

This is really great to have this film about the Truck festival!

It is also posted, now, as part of Festival News (October 5) on KadmusArts.com - http://www.kadmusarts.com/. In addition to connecting online to every festival around the world, KadmusArts also has a special category for environmental festivals.

Are there more video works such as this one from Truck, or other festivals? Has Jeremy Fowler made others?

    I don’t know - I’ll ask him!
