If you go, you’ll want to schedule your visit for midday when the sun is directly overhead so you can see the columns of light coming straight down into the canyon. Spectacular.

I only live a couple hours away from this place, yet I’ve never been there. A couple of my friends have went and said it is absolutely beautiful. If you ever go make sure you take a tour of the northern canyon (as opposed to southern), I hear it is a lot better.

Without private access, Antelope can be a very difficult canyon to photograph. It’s usually packed with tourists and the trail guides move you along at a rapid pace. All of my shots were done without a tripod: http://www.flickr.com/search/?q=antelope&w=68633198%40N00&s=int
