		<description>While I can see the aesthetic in these paintings, I don&#039;t really get what the artist is trying to say from them, I&#039;m afraid.

Yes, they&#039;re interesting in a way, but I don&#039;t find them making me think about &quot;... ecological, political, and militarism issues.&quot; They&#039;re just &#039;nice&#039; pictures of animals, with quirky backdrops. Sorry, Josh!

About the longest thought one of these pictures has inspired is how you create the &#039;sloping&#039; water in the third picture down. 

Unfortunately I can&#039;t see any Cezanne or Caravaggio influences, either. 

They work as pleasing, quite interesting artworks, but, for me, they fail as any sort of indictment of what we&#039;re doing to the world. Sorry.
