I thought I already saw this documentary on Nat Geo a long time ago. But thanks for this blog post anyway.

Bees are the real Kamikazee's. They sacrifice themselves for greater good.

Okay so lets check your math when describing how long it says the hornets can kill the bee hive. You say "One hornet can kill about 40 European honeybees per minute – that means a hive of about 30,000 should take 30 hornets only about three hours!"

Not sure how you messed up simple math this bad...if 1 hornet can kill 40 bees per minute, then 30 hornets can kill 1200 bees per minute (40 bees per minute for one hornet x 30 hornets=1200 bees per minute). So a beehive with 30,000 bees, being killed at a rate of 1200 bees per minute, would take only 25 minutes. You said 3 hours. Where did you get 3 hours from? LOL @ 3rd grade math fail

Do hornets produce honey? Can they produce shock in humans?

That's the coolest thing I've seen in a while, and I'm sure there's a moral in there somewhere.

Unbelievable! The hornets' rate of killing the bees is plain crazy. This is like watching a horror movie!
