It was quite painful to see all these spectacular cliffs together in like 10 minutes. There should be a warning on top of this article (something like this might work: "Intense beauty in this article might harm your brain").

I think the cliffs at Castle Dunnator in Stonehaven, Scotland at least deserve an honorable mention. One of the few still remaining beautiful cliff strongholds that was able to hold off the British during the Scottish rebellion.

I like the cliffs of England & Ireland. Especially the Cliffs of Moher.

@meren: Heh heh, good suggestion, will keep it in mind for future articles!

@jim: True, those are beautiful cliffs. Calls for a follow-up article...

Thanks to all for your comments!

What about the Na Pali Coastline? Is that a sea cliff?

Cathy (not verified) says:

I liked all the many faces of the cliffs-nothing could be more breathtaking than
completing a journey to the top of my favorite cliff. Thanks for the beautiful photos!

It's never too late...or is it?

I'm a little bit surprised... No words about Latrabjarg Cliff in Iceland !!! No offense, Moher are great, but I'm visited both last years and Latrabjarg is clearly more impressive and more higher (440m)... And it's full of puffins and razorbills. It's a great great place in Europe. Iceland is a outstanding country, one of the most beautiful on earth.

You should include Trolltunga which is a rock that you can walk on that jets out over a cliff in Norway
