Sometimes i ask myself,”is all this thing we call civilization good for us and the earth?”. One day all these scenes will vanish in the name of development that kills the earth: nuclear reactors,carbon spewing jet planes….. One day there will be no sun to chase. That sensible people like Linda are around gives me hope for a sunny future. Thank you Linda!!!

They also build small boats out of these totora reeds in both Peru and Bolivia. One of the boats which was built in Bolivia actually made a successful voyage across the Pacific a few years ago. They are really neat!
