This is incorrect.  The moon is tidally locked so that one side always face the Earth. If you are stationary on the moon Earthrises do not happen.  The Earth will remain in the same position in the moon sky at all times.  The only way to simulate an Earth rise is to move relative to the moons surface. 

I think you are confusing this with sunrise and sunset.  1 lunar day will be 4 weeks long, 14 days of light and 14 days of dark.</description>
