I have heard stories of the snakefish going to nightclubs and prey on unsuspecting females by using the date rape drug on them. The snakefish ended up eating them out...LITERALLY.

I caught a family of snakeheads and walked them home as the buses wasn't ready to let them board; it's a four days journey as we were proceeding back to my home.
On the 3rd day we passed by a petrol station and the youngest female of the group jumped in and bite the pipe line causing an explosion. KILLING EVERYONE.
On the 2nd day we reached a supermarket and the young male slithered in to devour everything that moved or was motionless. KILLING EVERYONE.
On the last day we passed by reached a park the mother of the pack jumped in to spawn which now known as the infamous Meadow Lake, which she also called via mobile her other sisters to breed in the other available lakes. KILLING EVERYONE.
Finally we reached home and instantly I was killed by the Alpha male right after it ate my 16 hamsters, 2 pet cats, 5 stray dogs and raped my neighbor’s 80year old grandmother. KILLING EVERYONE.

Snakeheads are naturally aggressive predator and devour anything that fits its mouth resulting in occasional death by choking. They need not be provoked to attack and are extremely hardy fish in even the worst water condition. They are equipped with sharp teeth and do deliver nasty bites. They do not have maternal instinct and die after many hours out of water. They DO NOT WALK but slithered around like eels and catfishes do when placed on dry land. I am flabbergasted that renowned Geo Nat and Maryland scientist which I once respect actually came up with such preposterous reports that they walked on dry land and able to survive 4 days out of water, along with using insecticide to poison the lake killing many of the fish native/non-native and other species. They failed to consider the repercussion of such deliberated action which they find the results are inconsequential. Lakes eventually lead to sea which the effects maybe accumulatively disastrous with like-minded irresponsible people, thinking that such dosage may disperse upon reaching the ocean.

Just 2 points to make.
first, the place these are running amuck is in maryland, thats a northern state, not a southern, and yes, the are surviving in ponds that are feezing over.
second, in america they did not get releashed from the pet trade, but from the live food trade. comfirmed story of the first release was a asian family who bought some from a live fish market to prepare a traditional meal for sick ppl, kinda like our chicken soup. the person in question got better before they were cooked, and then the fish were dumped in a pond. there they started breeding.
