True. Supermarkets sell industrial food. What should we do to buy food? Maybe in the future, each one of us will have a farmette, where we would grow natural food for our families. But in the meanwhile….?

A great alternative for supermarkets are farmers markets and also joining a CSA (community supported agriculture). This way, you get fresh organic vegetables and fruit that are from local farmers.

In the biodiversity section you shouldn’t forget that supermarket push farmers to use mostly productive animals so some species are getting extinct.
